Why is this a Blog?

So, I was thinking about that book I always semi-joked about writing called "Everybody Hates Mike Jones". Well, I then realized that nobody would buy it if I ever wrote it, so I decided to turn it into a blog so I wouldn't have to put in the effort of making a book to have nobody read it anyway. Enjoy!

Hawaii Part 1

Well, in case my excitement over the podcast didn't tell you, i'm home from Hawaii, and I have some interesting stories to share!

One of the first big things we saw in Hawaii was Pearl Harbor. The memorial over the sunken USS Arizona was truly fascinating. I knew little about the memorial itself before I arrived, so I was shocked to see the Arizona just lying below the water under the memorial. It was so close, but oily water made it seem that the ship was in a completely different world. Oil leaking from the ship carved a rainbow road through harbor, a sight I will not forget anytime soon.
