Bicicleta Revisited

So, I've been riding my bike fairly consistently for several days now, and I like to think I do some thinking about stuff while riding along. This varies from "what is the meaning of life" to "OH MY GOSH THAT IS A CUTE BABY." I would just like to share one though I had while riding.

It was a particularly nice day here in Worthington: not a cloud in the sky and the grass was as green as it could be. As I was enjoying this scene, I began to think about how different the park must have looked a couple thousand years ago; before the very path I was on existed. It made me realize how big of an impact we can have on our environment in a short amount of time. But then I pondered what this place would look like billions of years into the future. It made me realize that as big as we think we are, we are pretty much insignificant in the grand scheme of The Universe.

Makes a college kid feel pretty small, but I continued down the path regardless.
