Why is this a Blog?

So, I was thinking about that book I always semi-joked about writing called "Everybody Hates Mike Jones". Well, I then realized that nobody would buy it if I ever wrote it, so I decided to turn it into a blog so I wouldn't have to put in the effort of making a book to have nobody read it anyway. Enjoy!

E3 Reactions: Day Uno

For those who don't know, E3 is a big ass videogame shindig that happens in LA every year that nerds like me care about a lot, so here are my thoughts about the big stuff happened today:

The only event I got to watch the Microsoft presentation, so i'll mostly be talking about that. We all had a pretty good sense of what was going to be happening at this conference: Microsoft making a convincing argument for Kinect and showing a shit ton of cool games. Thankfully, they managed to pull that off. Got to see some cool demos of Gears, Halo, and Call of Duty and showed that Kinect has the potential to be a little more than an gimic like PS3 sixaxis. Really love the big ESPN deal and can't wait to see how that turns out!! GO FLYERS! Really surprised Kinetic did not get a price!! It makes sense though, as Sony is showing off their motion control thing tomorrow, putting the pressure on them to make a new pricing announcement. cool business move
